Kimberley Walsh Reveals Her Diet And Exercise Secrets

It’s safe to say that Kimberley Walsh is looking incredible right now.

The 34-year-old gained 3st while expecting her son Bobby, but has slowly regained her pre-pregnancy figure through a sensible diet and exercise regime.

Kimberley – who gave birth to little Bobby in September 2014 – unveils her ah-mazing bod in the latest issue of Fit & Well. All we can say is MIAOW, lady.



She’s now a healthy size 10, telling the magazine: ‘For me, it’s not about being thin – I like having shape and definition.’

The ex-Girls Aloud singer also opens up about her fitness routine, revealing that she lost her first 2st through gentle exercise and healthy eating.

And before appearing in West End musical Elf last year, she enlisted the help of personal trainer Nicole Abbot for at-home training sessions while Bobby napped.

Kimberley uses a combination of strength, cardio and core training sessions, using handheld weights (weighing anywhere from 4 to 10kg) and boosts her core with a physio ball.

She continues: ‘My workout is real me-time. I can switch off from baby stuff. It’s addictive and I just feel better after it.



‘If he wakes up before my hour’s session is up, Nicole ends up bouncing him up and down!’

To shed the last few pounds, Kimberley signed up to be the face of SlimFast and began using their diet plan. She also spiralises veg to save calories on heavy carbs like pasta.

‘The shakes are great when I’m working out because they’re high in protein,’ she says.

‘I always thought I’d struggle with a diet plan that only has sweet food. SlimFast snacks suit me because there are savoury options. My favourite is the Spicy Thai Noodles, at only 70 cals.’
