Kendall Jenner has always been very open about her struggles with acne.
The supermodel penned a letter on her website about how her skin had affected her, revealing that it ‘completely ruined’ her self-esteem.

It seems that the 20-year-old has now developed a winning skin regime, and she’s paired with her dermatologist Christie Kidd to bring us a how-to video.
The first tip? Be careful when you’re washing your skin. Christie tells Kendall, ‘I never want you washing your face with anything too abrasive. Not a scrub, not a rotating brush, not a washcloth.
‘You want to treat it very delicately and just wash really well with your hands.’
Using a flanel can transfer and spread bacteria to your face – yikes.
Christie’s biggest piece of advice is when it comes to products is that less really is more. She says, ‘I often find patients have bought and are using far to many products which makes their skin worse. Keeping it simple and effective is far better for acne.’
So, what does the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star use each morning? Christie Kidd‘s very own Clean face wash, along with the Acne Fresh Pads.
There’s no denying that KJ has a tendancy towards using a lot of heavy make-up, especially in her line of work – her family are the queens of contouring, after all – but before applying her slap, she adds a layer of the EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46.
And at nighttime? Kendall uses the same face wash and acne pads, and finishes her day with a layer of Renewal Serum. This expertly treats breakouts whilst simultaneously working to fade any blemishes.
Sister Kylie Jenner has followed suit, sharing a video to her own website that details her own skincare regime. She tells her fans, ‘I never have bad skin. But my sister had really bad skin growing up. And the only thing that really helped her was to find a good dermatologist.’
It’s alright for some, Kylie!
It seems that the 18-year-old’s everyday regime is pretty normal. She admits, ‘I still like to wash my face in the morning. Sometimes I’ll have leftover mascara, so I like to just take everything off, start fresh. And then I’ll usually be doing my make-up.’
