When you think of Jennifer Aniston you think total red carpet goddess, right?
Well. Maybe not anymore. Since paring down her look to play a woman with chronic pain in 2014 film Cake, the actress isn’t so bothered about glamming herself up.
‘I’m less attached to [make-up] now. When I was filming Cake, I didn’t wear any make-up,’ she says.
‘I was taken aback by how nervous I got about walking outside and knowing that there was probably going to be a whole group of photographers.
‘But then I just let go and I didn’t care. And over the next five weeks of shooting that, I really loved it. I wasn’t attached. If anything, putting on make-up felt so weird.’
There *is* another reason as to why Jen is feeling more confident about going slap-free – her fiancé Justin Theroux is a big fan of her natural look.
‘Justin loves me without,’ Jen tells People.
Awww! But it seems Justin, 43, likes Jen whatever she does. She adds: ‘He likes it when I smoke up my eyes!’
It’s no wonder Jen cares so much what her husband-to-be thinks. She’s totally smitten, admitting that she ‘started to sweat’ when she first clocked eyes on him back in 2007.
She’s not entirely sure about his sense of style, saying that fashion for him is ‘winter from the waist down all year round’. LOL.
However, she gushes that the engagement ring he designed himself is perfect because of its simplicity.
We have to agree with that one.
Despite being known for her ah-mazing beauty looks, Jennifer has encountered a few disasters over the years.
‘I gave myself a sun-tanning intervention a few years ago, where I was basically saying: “Let’s just quit while we’re ahead,”‘ she reveals.
‘I was not great as a kid with sunscreen. That’s one of my big regrets. Now I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser SPF 15.’
GREAT advice, Jen.
