The Tommy Hilfiger show at New York Fashion Week was inspired by the sea, the sun, the sand, and an everlasting island state of mind. The models were dressed in island-style outfits with soft, natural make-up and beachy, softly waved hair.
Along with the chic, rasta-style costumes and colourful braids, the models were given highlighted cheeks and brows, with a nude, natural lip, golden eyelids and a brush of bronze all over. The brows were left looking thick and unkempt to give that all-natural, bohemian look.
The show ended with the models striding through a catwalk of water. Gigi Hadid, who not so surprisingly led the show, looked a million dollars as she strolled through the water hand in hand with her sister Bella and concluded the show by giving her sis a kiss on the cheek.
The overall make-up look was subtle but sun-kissed, with a natural looking bronzed base, nude lip, and the perfect wonder waves.
To get the look, apply sea salt spray to damp hair and leave to dry naturally, or for those who suffer with frizzy hair, blowdry straight, then tong hair and spray sea salt spray on to finish. After foundation, apply MAC Cosmetics Mineralize finish onto brow bone and cheek bones and then Kiko highlighter under eyes and under chin. Finish with a nude liptisck like the Rimmel London Long Lasting Lipstick by Kate in 40.
