As per usual, Chrissy Teigen stepped out this week looking spectacular at the CDFA & Vogue Fashion Fund Show – so much for morning sickness. Sporting a red lip to compliment her tailored jumpsuit, she looked positively glowing.
The mum-to-be kept her makeup and hair simple, yet sophisticated. Her makeup artist, Patrick Ta, paired her bold lip with toned down eye makeup, whilst hairdresser to the stars Jen Atkin worked wonders on her tresses.
Let’s face it, who doesn’t want to look like Chrissy Teigen?! You can recreate her timeless look using these high street products…
Start with a light, dewy foundation like the Artdeco High Definition Foundation, £27. Using a stippling brush, buff the product into your skin using circular motions. This technique will give you picture perfect, airbrushed skin.
We love the gold undertones in the Primark Metallic Highlighter, £3. Swipe this luminous product onto your cheekbones, down the centre of your nose and under your eyebrows to get Chrissy’s glow.
Counteract a bold lip with toned down eyes. Brush the Bourjois Paris eyeshadow in ‘Generose 02’, £6.99 onto your lids for a neutral base. Then apply Maybelline’s Master Ink Satin, £4.99, as close to your lash line as possible. This will give the impression of a fuller lash (you can thank us later). Use the thin eyeliner brush provided for a super sharp, defined look. Finish off your eye makeup with a generous amount of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Multiplying Mascara, £7.99.
Clarin’s lipstick in ‘Joli Rouge’, £19.50, is almost an identical shade to Chrissy’s fiery pout. Apply to moisturised lips using a small lip brush. The satin finish will give the impression of a fuller mouth and the long-lasting formula will stay put all day.
To get Chrissy’s super sleek waves, use a large round-barrelled curling wand and curl your hair away from your face. Gently brush through for a softer finish, and apply Liz Earle’s Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil, £17.25, for that glamorous, glossy look!
