Welcome to the hippest yoga studio in the whole of London. It even has fancy wallpaper. Oh, and we’d happily the new gym kit out OUT…
When Frame fitness burst onto the London scene it changed gym-ing as we knew it. No more overstuffed workout sessions with angry, hulking blokes yelling at themselves in the mirror. No more having to queue for 20 minutes to ride a bike. Frame is all about the classes. And all about the fun. With classes like Bend It Like Barbie and 80s-style aerobics, Frame never took itself too seriously while simultaneously giving you the workout of your dreams. Now it’s given yoga makeover.
Plus, everything about it is Instagram-worthy. Even the graffiti-style logo. It’s almost worth the pain of a high energy HIIT class on a Sunday morning so you can rack up smug points among your mates.
We went along to the launch of the group’s brand new yoga studio. Around the corner from their Kings Cross main location, Frame new yoga space which flips the old, often stuffy practise on its head. The new studio is light and airy with signature Frame-style industrial features like concrete and metal. One wall is papered entirely with House of Hackney palm-print wallpaper. The perfect background for a post-yoga selfie. It’s a hipster’s dream yoga studio.
The actual yoga class was just as cool. Instead of hard to understand instructions, our yogi encouraged the class to shake tensions off, stretch but still have fun. She also looked incredible and seemed like the happiest person in London. Total body/mind goals for us.
We also had a sneak peek of the new Frame clothing line which launches on 10th September. The 20-piece range is packed with clever, cool pieces such as a crop-front hoody with a dipped back and leggings with built-in cycling shorts to avoid any the-person-behind-can-see-your-pants situations.
Frame yoga’s philosophy says it all. They say…
“It’s personal, mindful and physical and will leave you with a smile on your face.”
For £89 a month a yoga fan gets access to all of the yoga classes across Frame’s many locations (Kings Cross, Shoreditch, Queens Park and Victoria). The Move Your Frmae collection is available to buy from 10th September online.
