Wowsers! Felicity Jones is becoming one seriously sought after starlet. First came a coveted spot in the Burberry AW11 campaign, and now we’ve just heard the news that Dolce & Gabbana have snapped her up to be the face of their new Khol make-up collection, launching in January.
The design duo are obviously smitten with the Birmingham-born actress, saying: “Representing a heady mix of sensuality, confidence and beauty, Felicity Jones offers a sense of divine contradiction, classically beautiful yet modern in attitude, her audacious gaze is impossible to ignore.” It hasn’t yet been confirmed whether Felicity will replace current Dolce senorita Scarlett Johansson, or join her as a fellow make-up poster girl.
While you’ll have to wait until the new year to get a glimpse of Ms Jones in action, rumour has it the campaign shots will show the actress as an ‘aristocratic, savage girl’. It’s a long way from playing Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, that’s for sure! GG
