Facial Oil Is Going To Save Your Lips

If you aren’t already fanatical for facial oil, where have you been? Facial oil is a staple in our skincare regimes and now we’ve got one more reason to love facial oil.

Let’s get one thing straight. We ride or die for facial oil.

We admit, there was a time we were anxious about putting OIL on our skin. It doesn’t exactly sound like the best remedy and is kinda intimidating, we know!

But, whatever your skincare worries you’ll be pleased to know that facial oil can treat and target a number of issues by deeply nourishing and balancing your skin.

If your skin is too dry, a facial oil will help restore your skin’s moisture. Whereas if you’re oily, using a facial oil with balance your skin’s pH and help stop your skin from overproducing sebum.

That’s right, bye bye oily skin!

Facial oils are also amazing for anti-ageing, brightening, reducing hyper pigmentation… the list could go on.

If you aren’t already head over heels in love with facial oil we’ve got another reason to attract you to it.

Beauty gurus are swearing by facial oil for a completely different use… moisturising lips!

Yup, facial oils as a lip treatment is officially a thing and to be honest, we can’t quite figure out why we didn’t think of this sooner.

Our Instagram feeds have been full of makeup junkies popping a few drops of their favourite facial oils onto their lips before their lipstick to majorly moisturise them.

Makeup artist @amadea_dashurie claims that using an oil “keeps your lips soft without changing the finish on the lip application”.

To us, this sounds like the hack made in heaven. Liquid lipsticks are notoriously drying and this may be the answer to all our lip related woes.

So super matte lips without the dryness of super matte lips?! Dream. Come. True.
