If Beyonce, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus can all get on board a beauty trend you know it’s a winner. We saw the trio working seriously minimal make-up for the music industry’s biggest night of the year, the 2015 Grammy Awards.
Beyonce kept her make-up paired back with just a slick of clear gloss on her lips, and a lick of mascara on her lashes. As always her hair looked on point with thick, tumbling waves.
Rihanna added just a hint of definition to her brows, and traced her waterline with a black liner to cheat extra definition.
Whilst Miley Cyrus – who’s never one to play it safe – did just that with just that, by staying fresh-faced with just a touch of mascara and a sheer pink tint on her pout.
No make-up make-up may look like it requires zero effort, but the key to nailing the look is to ace your base. It’s all about cheating perfect, glowing skin then keeping the rest of your make-up to a minimum. Start with a glow-boosting base like Darphin’s CC Cream, £28.80, it evens out skin whilst giving a fresh-faced finish. Then grab a heavy-duty concealer like Benefit’s Boi-Ing Concealer, £17.50, and pinpoint just the areas that need extra coverage like around your nose or any pesky spots. Once your skin is sorted all you need is a lick or mascara and a swipe of lip balm. Well, it’s a heck of a lot easier that perfecting that feline flick, are we right?!
