Concealer Contouring: The Easiest Way To Enhance Your Angles

Contouring, you’d have thought we’d tried every which way to enhance our angles, after all we’ve seen everything from clown contouring to rainbow contouring hit our insta feeds. And although we love to experiment with our make-up (who doesn’t?!), for day-to-day our contouring routine needs to be a fast fix.

That’s why when we discovered one of the quickest, easiest and *totally foolproof* ways to contour, we had to share it.

For this method, you don’t need a scary 6-shade contour kit to sculpt your angles, nope, all you need is a concealer (yes, really). Masterminded by US Beauty Youtuber, Teni Panosian, who uploaded a video to her channel showing how she uses the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in a darker shade than her natural skin tone to contour for everyday. The technique is a breathe of fresh air for us lazy girls (and anyone who wants to contour in 30 seconds flat).

In the simplest contouring tutorial we’ve seen, Teni demonstrates how she uses a darker shade concealer (the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Dark Neutral, £17.50), to sculpt her cheekbones, nose and jawline whilst also adding warmth to the hairline.

The narrow applicator for the concealer makes it oh-so easy to apply precisely. Plus the creamy formula blends like a dream, unlike traditionally heavy contouring creams and powders – so you don’t have to worry about your make-up looking cakey.

Teni goes on to use a lighter shade of the concealer on the places you’d usually highlight – under her eyes, along her cheekbones, the bridge of her nose, and tip of chin. Then blends it all out with a buffing brush – we recommend the Zoeva Silk Finish Face Brush, £12.

Could this be the easiest contouring trick of all time? No doubt we’ll be ALL over this come Monday morning…
