Caroline Flack has been documenting her fitness journey on social media, and now she’s showcasing her full transformation in a brand new shoot for Women’s Health.
Taking her spot in front of the camera in a body-boasting crop top and briefs, we don’t think we’ve ever seen Flackers look happier or more confident as she graced a spread for the fitness mag’s June issue.
Making sure to promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle, Caroline explained that her new routine had more to do with how she felt than how she looked, saying that she wished to be ‘strong not skinny’.
In her interview, she revealed, ‘I’m nearer the size 8-10 now as my body shape has changed, but it was never my intention to get down to a size 6 or anything.
‘I didn’t want to get skinny, just strong. But actually the best thing about all of this is how I feel. I didn’t realise how much it would change my mindset.’
Caroline says that her healthier lifestyle has had a real impact on her wellbeing.
She said, ‘Before if I’d had a stressful day I’d go to meet my friends in the pub and have a moan. Now I go to yoga.
‘It really suits my head.’
You may remember that the TV presenter found herself the subject of some awful body-shaming comments on social media, particularly during her time on Saturday night’s X Factor towards the end of last year.
Opening up to the publication about this time, the 36-year-old admitted, ‘I ignored it for a very long time, knowing it was there, which was a weird feeling, like ignoring a bank statement on your table.
‘And one time I looked. I’ll never forget what night it was because it felt really s***. I learned my lesson not to look.’
This makes us really sad.
But we’re so pleased to see Caroline looking so happy.
