Cara Delevingne hit up the red carpet last night for the Berlin premiere of ‘Paper Towns’ – her new movie that sees her star alongside Nat Wolff on the big screen – and our favourite model of the moment looked ah-maz-ing.
Yep, everything from her gorgeous plum lips and shadowy, chocolate, smoky eyes, to her chic, undone waves. Ms Delevingne was totally on point with her beauty look (well done Cara!)
But one thing we couldn’t help but notice, her hair. Yeah she was rocking her signature bronde hair hue (yes that’s really a thing) and her tresses had been twisted into loose waves. Towards the top of her hair, near the roots, she had big beautiful curls that seemed to drop into a relaxed, almost straight, finish further down the strands.
The edgy do’ instantly reminded us of the models on the catwalk at Alberta Ferretti’s Spring Summer 15′ show, in which the girls wore a similar half-wavy-half-straight hairstyle.
By keeping the curls at the top of the hair you cheat bags of extra volume, and the straighter ends give you that cool-as-can-be ‘undone’ finish. We reckon the whole look is way cooler and edgier than typical beachy waves, as hair looks like it’s been lived in, it’s seriously effortless.
To cheat the style for yourself, grab TRESemme Salon Shine Waves Hair Wand, £27.99, then take a 2-inch-wide section of hair and wrap the top half around the heated barrel. After a few seconds take the remaining half of your hair, and wrap this around the barrel as well. Hold it there for just a second and then release the whole strand. This will ensure your curl at the top is defined, whilst the rest is super relaxed, just like Cara!
