Overnight Face Masks: Your Sleeping Skin Savers

We’ve been busy trying out these hi-tech overnight treatments, to see which will get our skin glowing by morning….

Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream, £13.99

There are so many moisturising goodies like jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid in this overnight treatment, so it’s guaranteed to nourish parched skin. I took it on holiday with me and it worked a treat for soothing my complexion after being in the sun. I popped this cream on before bed and when I woke up my skin looked bright and even. The only downside it that I did find the formula a bit rich, and noticed it left a slight greasy film  on my skin that I had to wash off come morning.

High-Potency Night-A-Mins, £35

It may be the most expensive, but this genius overnight oil works as a peel while you sleep; it contains ‘resurfacers’ which dissolve dull, dead cells. It may be an oil treatment, but it’s so light it felt like a serum! The essential oils and vitamin C and E left my skin looking radiant. Now whenever I want a brightness boost I pop it on before bed and by morning I look so glowy.

Idealia Skin Sleep, £17.47

Not only does this overnight mask smell amazing but it feels incredible on my skin. After the first night it left my face feeling baby soft and cleared up the dry patches around my nose. No matter how flakey or stressed out my skin is it always calms and soothes it back to its former glory.

Overnight Detox Oil, £29

I love that this dry oil overnight treatment contains tons of anti-oxidants, like grape seed and neroli. So it’s perfect for city-dwellers like me who want to detox all the pollution from their skin at night. I only needed to use two drops for my whole face. It’s not quite as moisturizing as the others but it really refined the surface of my skin and left it so much smoother by morning, I’m impressed.

Caudalie Overnight Detox Oil, £29

Sleeping BB Mask, £32

This overnight mask didn’t absorb into my skin like the others, instead it sat in a thin, non-greasy layer on the surface. By morning it had softened my skin and calmed any redness from the day before. I used this over the top of my everyday brightening serum and as well as moisturising it boosted the power of all my serum and left my skin, looking seriously radiant and super-soft.
