5 Paris Couture Make-Up Trends We Can’t Wait To Wear

Couture Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015 may have just wrapped in Paris, but the make-up looks debuted on the catwalk? Oh they’re still going – and they’ve whipped us into such a frenzy, we can’t decide which one to start wearing first.

Though created to compliment next season’s wardrobe, plenty of the lip, eye and cheek shades used on the runway are the perfect companion for summer style too. So here are our top five looks, fresh from the couture catwalk…

VERSACE

Make-up supremo Pat McGrath used a pearlescent green shadow on the lids and under the eyes of models at Versace (the starry line-up included Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls and Doutzen Kroes), which is just perfect for summer nights out.

DIOR

Who doesn’t love a pinch of peach to brighten things up? Make-up artist Peter Philips buffed a peachy shadow over the eyelids at Dior, then matched it on the lips with a pale peach gloss.

ELIE SAAB

One for going out-out, the look at Elie Saab combined a smoky eye in shades of metallic gold, with a chunky flick painted on using a much darker shade of bronze. Add lashings of mascara and take the bronze under your lower lashline too for plenty of smouldering definition.

VALENTINO

The look at Valentino was barley there, but check out that mega radiance! If you’re new to strobing, the make-up technique of the moment, now’s the time to start because this a look that’ll flatter every face.

CHANEL

The hair was a tad severe, we agree, but take note of the rosy blush and bright pop of lip colour as seen on Kendall Jenner here. Using blush to contour the cheeks like this can be a bold look, so make sure you blend it well to avoid looking too doll-like.
