Trying to find the best highlighter? Well the search is officially over...Contouring has been trending for the past 12 months but now it’s time for highlighters to take the spotlight – literally. The easiest way to give your skin a luminous, healthy-looking sheen, we think these are the best highlighters in the business!Nicknamed strobing, highlighting is all about enhancing areas of the face where light would naturally bounce off your skin – think cheekbones, temples, down the bridge of your nose and on top of your cupids bow. Always a big trend on the catwalks, it’s a signature look at shows like Issey Miyake, Calvin Klein and Chloe when perfect-looking, youthful skin is top of the wishlist. The complete opposite of contouring where you use darker shades to sculpt different areas of the face to make it look lifted, highlighters perch on top of your bone structure to create that model-worthy silhouette. It’s why the celebs have been doing it for years! It’s not about creating a bronzed post holiday glow, either (that’s bronzing, not highlighting, FYI!). To get it right, steer clear of warm, yellow-based tones and go for cool shades with a pinky, silvery base.“It’s about skin that looks moonlit not sunlit,” explains celebrity make-up artist, Lisa Valencia. “Obviously if you have dark skin, stick to golden highlights to avoid your skin looking ashy but everyone else will suit pinkier hues.”Formula-wise, you can pick and choose. Cream highlighters and liquid highlighters can be mixed with your moisturiser or foundation and applied all over your face with your fingers to make skin look fresh and dewy. Or, for more precise highlighting, use a brush to buff the pearlescent formula into your skin and stop any tell tale stripes reflecting in the light.Steer clear of oversparkly products, too - you don’t want your highlighting to look obvious – it’s about accents of spotlit skin, not a full-on party face! It’s worth noting that some powders do risk flecking so choose baked or mineral versions that have a tendency to stay put exactly where you place them. Our last top tip? Hold a mirror up to your skin in front of a window or light once you’ve applied your highlighter – if you see any obvious stripes you need to blend a bit more. Now you’ve got your highlighting technique sorted, invest in one of these top 10 highlighters…

David and Victoria Beckham are one of the most successful couples in the world, but when it comes to being loved-up, we think these guys win the title, hands down…Since they began dating in 1997, the world has been lucky enough to witness most of David Beckham and Victoria’s biggest moments as a couple, from their spectacular Dublin wedding, to those matchy matchy outfits. They’ve also weathered every storm that’s come their way, including media critique, frequent moves around the world and cheating allegations - and they’re all the stronger for it. Well, they’ve recently celebrated their 16th marriage anniversary, a rare achievement in the celeb world. They might’ve shed their Golden Balls and Posh Spice monikers, but the pair are still as successful at ever, finding a home-work balance that works for them, with David a full-time dad, and Victoria killing it in the fashion industry on her own terms (and documenting every perfectly-heeled step on Twitter, obv).Add to that a gorgeous family, with four children who are making headlines for the right reasons, and the couple should feel supremely proud. We’ve been just as impressed and enamoured by their offspring as we are by the couple themselves. 16-year-old Brooklyn’s modeling career is taking off, although the teen still has his feet on the ground, working at a café to earn pocket money and taking star struck selfies when he gets to meet celebs. 13-year-old Romeo’s first modeling gig was a Burberry campaign, Cruz, 10, plays at the Arsenal Academy and Harper’s already garnered attention for her adorable outfits (so.adorable!).Click through our gallery to see the Beckham’s through the years (cooing inevitable)…

Spring/summer 2016 is looking pretty good if the latest drop of fashion campaigns is anything to go by. Where Gucci flew off to Berlin, Versace tackled the snow and Agent Provocateur was all about the chic French barn. From Anna Ewers to Gigi Hadid and Miranda Kerr, there are plenty of familiar faces in the stunning new campaigns, as well as a few surprises.Louis Vuitton decided to go for something a little different for its Series 4 campaign. Snapping up 17-year-old Jaden Smith as a male face to front the womenswear campaign is certainly a progressive move. And if that wasn't enough, the French fashion house also hired a Final Fantasy character (called Lightening) to model the new collection.READ: The AW15 Fashion Campaigns You Need To SeeDolce & Gabbana stuck to the family spirit it sent down the catwalk, setting the scene of an Italian village in summer with "past and contemporary pursuits" as the backdrop for the campaign. The house described on Instagram the simple story the ad was trying to tell – "fruit stalls, small shops, spaghetti, coffee, family, sunshine, summer. In one word, Italy."The underwear campaigns have made use of some pretty massive names with Agent Provocateur hiring Bar Rafaeli to writhe around in the hay in silky undies, while Wonderbra and Miranda Kerr kept things super simple and chic.READ: Jaden Smith Fronts Louis Vuitton WomenswearGigi Hadid makes more than one appearance in the SS16 ads, posing away in bright-hued camoflauge for Versace and stripping off completely – except for those stunning sandals of course – for Stuart Weitzman alongside Joan Smalls and Lily Aldridge. Anna Ewers, Lucky Blue Smith and both Ruth and May Bell are just some of the other faces gracing the beautiful campaigns. So what are you waiting for? It's time to peruse the most gorgeous fashion campaigns of spring/summer 2016 – and keep checking back because we will be constantly updating you with the hottest new pics.

With summer literally just around the corner, there's no better excuse to invest in a new pair of shoes. Now that it's nice and warm, it's high time to expose your toes and take on this season's hottest sandal trends, so pack away your ankle boots, take your trainers off and get aboard this summer's sandal train now!Last year, it became all about Birkenstocks, sliders and seriously comfty footwear. 'The rise of the ugly shoe' meant that we threw out our delicate, strappy sandals and made way for chunky-soled, thick-strapped shoes that looked seriously practical and started to look suspiciously like what was in your Gran's shoedrobe. This season, that trend is going nowhere fast. From Burberry's dad sandals to Birkenstocks on the Houghton catwalk, the fashion world is still totally obsessed with functional flats, even making way for Velcro straps and spongy soles. Make sure to tap into this trend with the uber-edgy sliders flooding the high street. We are loving Adidas' ponyhair slip ons and are still seriously crushing on everything jelly at Juju. But it's not all about sensible sliders this summer. The lace-up flats that saw us through spring in style have made a mark on this season too. Whether tied up to your ankle or all the way up your calf in serious gladiator style, everyone stylish will be rocking a lace-up in the sun. If you want to take a more feminine stance with your sandals this summer, then you should definitely join the lace-up brigade. The only shoe rivalling gladiators as the biggest footwear of summer? Clogs. Yep that's right. Ever since Prada sent it's ladies down the catwalk in chunky, wooden-soled sandals, the fashion world has started a love affair with the contraversial shoe and the high street has jumped on board. And if you're in the market for something a little more dressy, then worry not we have got you covered in the heel department too. From T-bar caged courts to brightly coloured block heel strappies, your perfect night-out footwear is in our edit, so what are you waiting for? Come and check it out.By Amy de Klerk
