Red Hot Hair Tints: The New Celebrity Hair Trend
Hair-colour trend alert! Angelina Jolie and Cat Deeley have both stepped out sporting poker-hot red hairstyles. Relax though – red doesn’t need to be as bright as a double-decker bus, subtle rust or copper tints work wonders for pepping up pale skin. We spoke to Christophe Robin, expert colourist for L’Oréal Paris, who told us which tones to go for.
“Red is such a sexy colour. If you want it to look subtle, it needs to be close to your natural hair colour. If your hair is quite dark, choose a mahogany tint, if you’re brunette go for a coppery red and if you’re blonde, try a warm strawberry hue.”

Celebs Go Coloured-Hair Crazy
Fashion is not the only thing going colour crazy – the beauty world has caught on too! This week we’ve spotted not one, not two, but four celebs with new dyed hairdos. Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts wowed us with her two-tone statement pony, while Nicole Scherzinger went for a more subtle effect with a pretty coloured plait – this is such a cute look and one we’ll definitely be rocking at the summer festivals. And hold up, like a beauty chameleon, Rihanna’s changed her locks again –this time opting for a bold orange shade with a long shoulder bob. We're putting bets on how long this colour lasts! LT

Introducing The 24-Hour Hair Salon…
Our prayers were answered when we heard about the new 24-hour hair salon opening in London. Could this be the best invention ever?! If you're a workaholic and you've had to use your holiday days to get your hair done (yep, we've definitely been there) this is the perfect solution. The salon, which is located on New Bond Street, is open for 24 hours every Thursday after popular demand for late night appointments. And the man running the show is queen of colour Jo Handford’s right hand man, Neil Cornelius. Keira Knightley and Kate Moss are both celebrity clients so lets just say he knows a thing or two about hair.

LOOK Loves: Kevin Murphy Coloured Hair Shadows
If you haven’t already noticed, hair colour is huge right now, with pop icons such as Katy Perry, Jessie J and Lady Gaga changing theirs at least once a week. So it’s pretty handy that Kevin Murphy have come up with these amazing, temporary coloured hair shadows called Color Bugs, £12.95. All you have to do is apply a little mousse or wax to the area you want to colour, swipe the powder over your hair and tah-dah! You've got wipe-on, wipe-off colour just like that. Rihanna Shows Off Her New Blonde Hair On Twitter
Rihanna changes her hair so often, we’re surprised her own family even recognise her half the time! After dying her locks brunette for the Emporio Armani underwear campaign, she revealed via Twitter today that she’s gone blonde for a US Elle cover shoot. It’s not just the colour she’s mixing up, either – she's added a fringe and swapped her recent bouffant curls for a fierce straight style. Well, if we had the world’s best hairdressers at our beck and call, we’d probably change our hair as often as RiRi does too! GG

Katy Perry Shows Off Blue Bobbed Hair
Katy Perry wowed fans outside BBC's Maida Vale studios with her striking blue bob today. The singer has been sporting blue locks for a month now, but she's mixed it up with a new fringe and face-framing layers. Katy completed her look with a gold-studded bodycon dress and black ankle boots.
Katy Perry is not the only star to experiment with hair colour, January Jones has been experimenting with pink slices in her blonde barnet and Rihanna is also a fan of rainbow-hued locks. IOC
