LOOK’s Style Director’s Hot List: everything you need to know about, shop, see and do this week, Edited by LOOK’s very own Style Director Zoe Aird. If it’s hot, it’s here.
Just in case you didn’t know and don’t have one near you, the amazing Zara Home range is now available on the internet. I am currently having a total table-cloth obsession (yes people, sad but true!) and their glasses and plates are beautiful too.
Long or short, sleeved or not, silk shirts are your elegant but super cool work friend. Gohigh end in Equipment (Carine Roitfeld’s partner’s label) or try Warehouse, M&S or Zara for excellent high street versions.
These bad boys are just like the Isabel Marant ones but at £150 – naturellement – much cheaper. Obvs we love this fact.
So you’ve got a whole year until the new film version comes out but if you haven’t read this incredible book yet, party season is the time to do it. Would make a lovely Christmas gift for a friend as well!
Your hands are one part of you that will betray your real age in years to come, so look after them now! I’m a big fan of Nuxe products and this cream is luxurious and moisturizing – my hands look positively teenage (kind of)!
You know the moment you see someone in a truly amazing pair of jeans – the ones that make you look leaner, longer and cooler? Step forward Paige Denim Hoxton Ultra Skinny. Worth the money purely for the compliments.
I love the online Tate exhibition shop. It includes all the different Tate exhibition goodies from the Tate Modern, Britain and St Ives. Amazing, books, brilliant gifts and beautiful limited edition prints (if you really want to splash out).
The beauty girls bought these to brighten up their desk and they’re a stylish alternative to traditional tinsel – even better – its only £5 for nearly a two meter stretch. Amaze!
Now the weather has turned (brrrr), cashmere is the way forward. I love Marks and Spencer’s mens crew neck sweaters in classic, neutral-ish shades (who needs yellow cashmere?) and at £69 it’s a bargain (well, as far as the soft stuff goes anyway). As it’s from the men’s range it’ll hang loosely (perfect for layering over that silk shirt) and keep you toasty. Double bonus.
I know the perfect red lipstick is quite subjective depending on your skin tone but this one works for me. It’s moisturising, long lasting and frankly brightens up my grey winter face. Love!
