Flat boots are *so* the latest item on our wish lists. Just when we were getting fed up with heels and flatforms, the flat boot made a return.
And we’re so glad they did. The best thing about them? They’re super-practical in the grey winter months but can still be worked into spring and summer outfits.
Not only that, but they look chic all year round.
When the weather’s colder, wear your flat boots with jeans or leather trousers and a boyfriend coat. If you’re at work, go for midi skirts, shirts, tights and cropped jumpers.
If it’s a little warmer, dare to bare those legs and sport your flat boots with a mini or a floaty thigh-split maxi. This achieves two things:
a) You’ll stay cool in the heat
b) They’ll toughen up a girlie outfit. Boho dress and biker boots? SO works
Still not convinced? There are plenty of different flat boots out there, meaning there’s an ah-mazing pair for everyone.
You’ll find flat boots that are ankle-length, knee-high and over-the-knee and in materials including velvet, leather and suede.
Then there’s patterns. You’ve got choices including leopard print, snake print and houndstooth.
If you’re looking for a preppy style, check out our choice of Chelsea boots. Want something a bit more edgy? Go for a pair that have been embellished with chunky buckles.
For flat boots that’ll take you from day to night, you may be interested in a two-tone design while a pointed toe will give you a more feminine flair.
Whether you prefer a traditional brown or black pair or colour-popping flat boots, we *promise* you we’ve got something you’ll want to run out and snap up.
So take a look at the LOOK edit of our favourite flat boots. You won’t be disappointed…
