New York fashion week kicked off fashion month with a bang. We saw the best of the best celebs, from Kendall Jenner to Bella Hadid walking the catwalks and filling the FROWS. Who can forget Bella and Gigi Hadid’s Tommy Hilfiger finale? The cool catwalk sisters walked into the Caribbean inspired beach, and then through the makeshift sea with fellow models. We also loved the DVF catwalk where Karlie Kloss and co posed up a storm backstage.
London fashion week gave us the cool edge that we’ve come to know and love. With the likes of Suki Waterhouse, Cressida Bonas and Jourdan Dunn filling the coveted FROWS. Burberry got everybody talking, with that amazing orchestra catwalk. Milan and Paris Fashion week didn’t disappoint either; we loved the grand theatrics of the Chanel show. The usual Chanel shows space was transformed to replicate an airport. With airport check-in points included!
It wasn’t just the celebs that looked amazing at fashion month either; these shoe goers were just as stylish. We hand picked these cool fashionista’s from all four cities to show us their fashion week outfits. Each having tips and tricks to how they survived the busy fashion month period. Monica Wears: Turtleneck from Urban Outfitters, skirt and shoe boots from Topshop, belt is Vintage and necklace is from Primark.
“It’s a comfortable yet stylish option for rushing around London during Fashion Week. Turtlenecks look great tucked into a denim skirt with a vintage belt. A must have for me is a portable phone charger, fashion week isn’t the same without it!” Monica Barleycorn www.helloomonica.com
Lilah wears: trousers from Coast, blouse from Uniqlo and shoes from Moda in Pele.
“I think monochrome is a really fun way to dress during that transitional period between summer and autumn. The coast trousers are quite daring for me – I’m normally a skirt girl but I feel great in them and I think the bow blouse keeps the look feminine. I find for Fashion week it’s always important to think about how your outfits work seated! Fashion week must have – coffee! And a spare bag with all the necessities like my hairbrush and makeup and a spare pair of flats!” Lilah Parsons
Valeria Wears: Dress, Bag And Fur Gillet From Souleiado.
“I like creating my looks by mixing new glam items to thrifted vintage accessories. I’m a lover of pink and pastel hues. Although I generally live by less is more, I was totally charmed by the opulent, edgy outfits spotted at Fall 2015 RTW shows. What better occasion than Fashion Week to rock a season trend? My fashion week must-have are a pair of foldable flats. ” Valeria Arizzi from www.cocoetlavieenrose.com
Sarah Wears: top from Zara, culottes from Reiss, shoes from Tony Bianco, clutch from Whistles, watch from Caravelle, ring from Nordenstam and bracelet from Gas Bijoux.
“The more versatile my outfit is during fashion week, the more comfortable I feel. Culottes are great for fashion week, as they create such a good silhouette, but giving you more freedom (to run in-between shows) than if I was wearing a skirt. When a day holds both shows and meetings with showrooms, I need to look polished and feel comfortable at the same time, which this outfit allows me. My fashion week must have is a good notebook! I always loose business cards, so if I have a place to collect them and have guest notes in there. Bring concealer! They’re long days, and the makeup fades.” Sarah Mikaela from www.framboisefashion.com
Alanna Martine Wears: top from Melville, skirt from Forever 21, Cardigan is thrifted and shoes are from SCHUTZ.
“All things retro inspire me. The hounds tooth pattern really turns up the volume in contrast to the stark black of the bottom. Each piece adds to the uniqueness of the final look.” Alanna from www.alannamartine.com
Teresa wears: Levi shorts and Vintage blazer. “I wanted my look to be classic, trendy but still girly. Vintage pieces are a must have for me. I like to look glamorous all the time, but comfortable for when I am rushing from show to show” Teresa Morone www.teresamorone.com
Jeanine wears: clutch and jumpsuit from Zara and Heels from Misguided.
“Black is always my first choice when it comes to special events. But I still like to add a pop of colour to my outfit. I’ve chosen this outfit because it’s easy to wear and outfit swapping at fashion week is a breeze.” Jeanine Morino www.jeaninemorino.blogspot.co.uk
Elvira wears: suit from Reiss, accessories from Room Collar, t-shirt from Topshop and Converse Trainers.
“Hopping from show to show can be tiring in heels, especially while trying to manoeuvre over that famous cobbled floor of Somerset House. With this look I wanted to find a way to look dressed up while still being dressed down so pairing trainers with a suit seemed like the best option; a way to look smart and sophisticated but still trendy, fun and most importantly comfortable! Then I threw one my fave Accessories Room collar, just for a little added flair.” Elvira Vedelago www.carelle-style.com
Alex Wears: t-shirt from River Island, dungarees from Urban Outfitters and mules from Office.
“I love an outfit that’s simple and easy for LFW, this high neck tee taps into the turtleneck trend, whilst the dungarees keep me feeling smart. I’ll start the day in my Office mules but will probably be in trainers by the afternoon! My ‘can’t live without fashion week product’ is my portable phone charger and Batiste dry shampoo.” Alex Stedman www.the-frugality.com
Christina wears: romper from Missguided, hat from Urban Outfitters, heels from Zara and bag from H&M.
“The key to selecting a Fashion Week outfit is adding convenience without compromising style. A romper can be quickly dressed up or down for any occasion and ensures a seamless journey between a long day of shows. I opted for a pale pink piece to maintain the lightness of summer as we slowly move into the new season. To add some personality to the piece, I topped it off with this summer’s favourite wide brim boater hat. My accessories maintain a neutral colour palette for versatility, including a large tote to carry all the show essentials. These include my phone and extra charger, basic makeup for touchups, a simple pair of flats for commuting, my camera for street style shots, and a granola bar for a quick refuel. Here’s to another great season of fashion!” Christina Lau www.looksbylau.blogspot.com
Emma wears: skirt from Asos, shoes and coat from Zara.
“My style is ruled by confidence. The more confident you are, the better your look will be. I always choose a key piece, and try to make a story around it. It’s massively important for me to feel comfortable in what I’m wearing. I love to create my own style, as I think fashion is about finding your own individual style.” Emma Easton from www.masterofdetails.fr, photograph by Elise Labille

Jessica wears: sunglasses and bag from Céline, blouse from Mango, culotte from H&M and shoes from Aldo.
“My go to fashion week rule is to be yourself and not try to copy anyone else. I try not to overdress for fashion week; as my style is simplicity and comfort.
