When they say your name, it’s like one of those Zoolander moments when you think they’ve said the wrong name. It’s out of this world. I never thought this would happen.” And THIS is why we love her.

The Victoria’s Secret 2012 Show might have been Cara Delevingne’s first, but she’s no stranger to the catwalk. She’s walked the runway for brands such as Shiatzy Chen, Jason Wu, Oscar de la Renta, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Stella McCartney, Chanel and Donna Karan. Wow!

She’s not just a pretty face, you know. Cara Delevingne told The Telegraph recently: “I’m a world class Beat Boxer, you should hear the noises I can make with my mouth… I’m also obsessed with drumming and have a massive electric drum kit in my bedroom, I’m drum mad.”
Cara Delevingne grew up in a mansion in London’s Belgravia, and attended the independent Bedales School.

Talking about her favourite fashion labels, Cara Delevingne says: “I love Christopher Bailey and Burberry, Mulberry for bags, and Hudson for jeans. I like a little bit of designer, with a bit of vintage and high street mixed in.
“I love it when you find those one off key pieces, which end up becoming investment pieces. I always go for comfort, and like feeling confident and casual.”
Cara Delevingne loves her music, and if she wasn’t a model, she’d like to work in the record industry. But NOT in front of the camera.
She says: “If I was rich enough, I would love to launch my own record label. I would love to try and give all my musically talented friends a start in the industry.” Aww!
Cara Delevingne is a huge fan of LOOK, after we published a story about some comments she made with regards to Victoria Beckham. Cara denied reports that she’d turned down the role of VB in the Spice Girl musical, Viva Forever.
When we wrote a story about what she REALLY said and printed her retraction, she praised our team for sticking by her, tweeting us: “Reporting the truth! I like it!”
Cara Delevingne has big acting ambitions. The model wants to work with Meryl Streep! She says: “I’d love to be in a film with Meryl Streep or Martin Scorsese. There are so many different things I want to do, maybe like a possessed child or an evil something…I don’t know.”
Cara Delevingne has a famous sister, in the form of fellow model Poppy Delevingne. And she loves her to bits!
She says: “Poppy has always been so supportive of me. It was strange in the beginning with both of us working in the same industry, but she has helped me and is always there for me with advice. It helps that we are similar people, we are very close.”
