Zoella Calls Off Her Dublin Book Signing Due To Illness

Zoella had some pretty disappointing news for her fans at the weekend.

Over the past few weeks, the YouTuber has been travelling the country to meet her viewers and promote her second book Girl Online: On Tour.

But just a day before she was due to sign copies of the novel in Dublin, Ireland, she was forced to cancel due to illness. Boo :(.

Zoella Zoella revealed the news on Twitter

Zoella – real name Zoe Sugg – took to Twitter to apologise to her followers, writing: ‘Hey guys, I’m so sorry but I’ve had to postpone the Dublin signing for tomorrow as I’m not very well.

‘I’m absolutely gutted as I really wanted to meet you and it was the last leg of the signings (plus I’ve never been to Ireland and was so excited).

‘I hope you understand (as I’m sure you will as you’re all so lovely anyway). Check your emails for updates from Easons about the signing being rescheduled for another time in the new year. Xxx.’

The majority of people seemed understanding after reading her message, with replies including: ‘everyone understands, focus on getting no better and remember we all love you very much x.’

Zoe was clearly touched by this, later posting: ‘I honestly have the best viewers. You make me want to cry with how lovely you all are, thank you.I wish I could give you all a hug.’

But others were a teeny bit more annoyed, complaining that they’d already flown over to Dublin to see her.

Let’s just hope she feels better soon so she can plan another trip to the Emerald Isle.

Unfortunately for the 25-year-old, her long-term boyfriend Alfie Deyes hasn’t been around to help her through her illness. The 22-year-old flew to America on Sunday.

Fingers crossed they’re getting lots of Facetiming in!
