Zayn Malik has disappointed A LOT of people by pulling out of Friday’s episode of The Graham Norton Show.
The 23-year-old was slated to appear on Graham’s sofa to chat (we’d hoped) about One Direction, his solo album and his budding romance with Gigi Hadid.
But unfortunately, it was confirmed yesterday that he’d no longer be able to make it. Boo.
With Zayn’s cancellation coming right at the last minute, some Directioners were understandably a little concerned at the news.
However, it seems he just wasn’t able to fit it in around his busy schedule promoting his new music.
A representative for Zayn tells MailOnline: ‘Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts with recording commitments, Zayn’s appearance on Graham Norton has been postponed.’
Zayn was due to appear alongside stars including Ryan Reynolds, Will Smith, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Toby Jones on the programme.
It looks like Ryan, 39, is just as gutted as us about the no-show, Tweeting yesterday: ‘Zayn isn’t on the Graham Norton show with me anymore. I’ll still go… But obviously I got my lips done for nothing. #DeadpoolDoesLondon.’
Lolz. But never fear, Ryan! Because Zayn has given his first on-camera interview since leaving 1D last March, instead with Zane Lowe for Apple Music’s Beats 1Radio.
Zayn got very honest about his time with the group while speaking to Zane, admitting that he ‘never really wanted to be there’. Whaaat? :(.

He said: ‘I just gave it a go because it was there at the time. I think I kinda always wanted to go. From the first year, I never really wanted to be there in the band.
‘When I realised the direction that we were going in, mind the pun, with the music, I instantly realised it wasn’t for me. How do you write a song from five people’s perspective?
‘I think the boys knew that in terms of the music, that wasn’t my cup of tea. When I was leaving the band, they didn’t want me to leave. But I’d already made up my mind at that point.’
Major sad face. But we’re excited to see what you do next, Zayn.
