The 20-year-old Love Island star was *not* happy about the reports...
Eep. So Zara Holland’s had a dramatic few hours, hasn’t she?
If you tuned into Loose Women yesterday, you’ll know that the 20-year-old went head-to-head with Deone Robertson, who became Miss Great Britain when she was de-crowned on Love Island.
Zara lost her title after a night of romance with Alex Bowen in the hideaway, a move which many people (including the LOOK team) thought was sexist and outdated.
Unfortunately for Zara, she didn’t exactly have the easiest of times on the programme. When she said she thought Miss GB was a ‘modern pageant’, June Sarpong hit back: ‘There’s nothing modern about having sex on TV. I don’t agree with having sex on TV.’
And the conversation pretty much went on in this manner.
But this wasn’t the only thing that Zara had to deal with. After her slot was over, reports began emerging of her being, er, kicked out of the programme’s green room.
According to these stories, she was angry that Miss GB didn’t tell her she’d been replaced until after making an official announcement, with a source telling The Sun: “Deone approached Zara to say she hoped there were no hard feelings, and that she wished her all the best
‘Zara replied that she had no issues with her, but the way it was all handled, and that the Miss Great Britain organisation should have let her know.

‘At this point the National Director interjected to reiterate the fact that they had no contact with her in the Love Island villa, but had let her mum know, and kept her up to date throughout.
‘Zara then became extremely agitated and they started rowing. Her mum and management had to physically remove her from the green room, she was going ballistic.’
Zara was NOT happy to read this, quickly fighting back on Twitter: ‘I was not aggressive or escorted of the premises! Ask anyone at ITV! Anyway, moving onwards, Thank you for all your amazing comments and support [sic].’
She also re-Tweeted ITV’s security guard, who’d said: ‘@zaraholland11 lmao I can safely say that this never happened.’
And it seems standing her ground worked for her. A representative from Loose Women has now told MailOnline: ‘Zara was not removed or asked to leave the Loose Women studios today.
‘She left of her own accord following her appearance on the show and with her mum.’
We’re glad to hear it, lady.
