Rumours have started circulating that one of the judges might be too poorly for this weekend's show...
This weekend will see The X Factor take to our screens for the last time this year, and it’s safe to say that we’ve all been eagerly waiting for the final of the ITV show.
But now, reports are emerging that could mean we’re a judge down for the live shows. Yup, poor Simon Cowell is said to be suffering with a bout of flu, with some questionning whether he’ll be well enough by Saturday.
Reports are claiming that the 57-year-old has been kept on bed rest this week, and also that he’s been told not to attend any events or do any promotional work for the talent competition. Sad face.
According to reports, a source allegedly claimed to the Daily Star: ‘He’s on bed rest. He’s doing all he can to get better for the final.’
The mentor doesn’t have any acts left in the competition, but with his straight-talking opinions and witty one-liners, we’d be sad to hear if he was too sick to make an appearance.
Wishing you better, Si.
Fellow judge Louis Walsh, on the other hand, has been busy making headlines with his remaining act, 5 After Midnight, this week.
At a photocall ahead of the reality show’s final this weekend, he was asked if Cheryl, 33, would ever return to the panel, leading him to snap: ‘Well Simon [Cowell] wouldn’t invite Cheryl back because we have Nicole [Scherzinger].
‘We have Nicole and Sharon [Osbourne], we don’t need another girl. So go and f*** off now!’
He then lent forward and jokily snapped at the reporter, adding: ‘No silly questions, seriously. It’s not about Cheryl. Don’t be stupid, man.’
Band 5AM have since distanced themselves from their mentor’s words, so it will be interesting to see how this unfolds at the final…
