One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson Bags A Part-Time Job

Louis Tomlinson is making the most of the One Direction boys’ time off by lacing up his football boots and joining the Doncaster Rovers football team. Well, we didn’t see that one coming!

The One Direction star revealed that he’s secured a spot on the reserves team and will be playing his first match in March before the band heads off on tour.

‘We’ve got a couple of months off now but we’re usually abroad on tour so I don’t get to see Rovers that often’, Louis told The Mirror. ‘Six months ago I was joking about with one of the guys at the club and the joke became reality so I’m on the squad!’

While touring the world with the 1D boys may sound like a pretty sweet job, Louis’ brand new sporting venture is a real dream come true for the football fanatic.

‘I’ve been a fan since I was a young boy, and used to go with my dad and grandad’, the 22-year-old Doncaster-born lad explained. ‘[And now] I’m registered as a player.’

So can we expect big things from Louis and his ball skills when he hits the pitch in a couple of months? ‘I’m all right’, he added coyly. ‘I play right back – a bit hit and miss!’

Pfft, such modesty. We can’t wait to see Tomlinson tearing up the pitch come March – can you?

Front row seats, please!
