Welcome To The LOL Guide To Getting Fit In January

Welcome To The LOL Guide To Getting Fit In January

You're basically going to be Jessica Ennis-Hill by 1 February...

1) Invest in the most expensive work-out outfit you can get your hands on

With clobber like this, you'll be in the gym every day just to show off.

2) Blow the rest of your budget on at-home accessories

Buying weights, an exercise ball and a treadmill for your dining room will force you to squeeze in sessions when you can't be bothered to leave the house.

There's absolutely no way that you'll have deflated the ball and moved the treadmill to the garage by 18 January.

3) Join a gym. Best get a swimming membership as well

Paying £35 per month is the ultimate incentive for daily work-outs.

Of course, they're really easy to get out of if you decide they're not for you...

4) Take plenty of selfies as you do your stretches

This is exactly what your Instagram followers want to see. It won't make them want to throw their phones at a wall AT ALL.

5) Write a Facebook status every time you train

People love it the most when you explain (in depth) how you smashed your personal best and feel 'so energised'.

6) It's all about kale and juices

You'll have so much adrenaline pumping through your veins any cravings for cake/crisps/chocolate will miraculously disappear.

7) Post daily inspirational work-out memes

Because you're always at your most motivated when scrolling through your newsfeed before bed.

There's no doubt you'll have the same mindset when your alarm goes off at 6am the next morning. Erm.

What better way to get yourself moving?

We're sure you'll still love Ellie Goulding, Beyonce and Taylor Swift just as much when you start associating them with lunges, squats and *shudder* burpees.
