London Fashion Week is almost over for another season (sob!), and as well as making a mile-long shopping list of pieces from the catwalks, we’ve been coveting the star style from the front row. And showing off her inimitable fashion credentials, Alexa Chung has been giving us serious arm-candy envy.
The Brit fashionista has been working her signature preppy look in shift dresses, peasant blouses and pencil skirts, but her it’s her quirky bag choices which have seen her steal the show on the front row.
At the start of the London shows she confirmed faux fur designer Shrimps’ cult status by stepping out at its presentation and accessorising her all-white look with a colourful flower shaped clutch by the designer. And clearly she can’t get enough of it, as she also jazzed up a sleek black wool midi dress with the bag at last night’s Business Of Fashion party.
It was just yesterday we were crushing on Pixie Lott’s bright yellow furry clutch, and now we’ve seen Alexa’s pink and burgundy version, we’re sensing this is a BIG trend for AW14. So we recommend investing in Topshop’s faux fur roll clutch now to get the look. It’s a snip at just £28. We’ll take ours in the dusky pink hue, please.
But that’s not the only Alexa arm-candy we’ve been eying this week – for both Christopher Kane and Erdem’s shows she polished off her look with a super-cute mini briefcase clutch by none other than Louis Vuitton. J’adore.
