Something Very Awkward Happened To Vicky Pattison During Last Night’s Extra Camp

Last night saw Vicky Pattison's I'm A Celebrity presenting debut, but people have been criticising *this* very awkward moment...

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is officially back on our boxes! This means the next few weeks are going to be FULL of creepy crawlies, witchetty grubs and Scarlett-Moffatt-one-liners.

Who’s complaining?! Definitely not us.

However, with the brand spankin’ new series kicking off last night, it appears the show has already managed to cause some controversy.

In fact, after an apparent awkward blunder on live TV, viewers took to social media to criticise the new addition to the I’m A Celeb crew, Vicky Pattison.

The former Queen of the Jungle (circa 2015) has replaced Laura Whitmore on the I’m A Celeb side show Extra Camp- joining co-presenters Chris Ramsey, Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon.

During her debut last night, we thought Vicky was absolutely marvelous. In fact, the former Geordie Shore ‘gal even managed to laugh off a pretty awkward blunder whilst live on air, leaving us very impressed.

During a segment of the show, Vicky was chatting with a viewer via a video link. Whilst discussing the show’s new formatting, Vicky asked the viewer ‘Do you love the new Xtra Factor… Extra Camp?!’.

Now, this would have been all well and good had the show very much not been the Xtra Factor. But, hey! Proves it’s live, eh folks?!

Vicky has taken to social media to share her thoughts on the fiasco, and in true Pattison style she’s still laughing- ‘Note to self: You work on Extra Camp Vicky…. EXTRA CAMP!!!!‘.

The real presenter of The Xtra Factor, Rylan, has also taken to social media to share his thoughts- writing ‘Babe you work on “Extra Camp” @VickyPattison ….. stop trying to be me girl! xxxx’.

The majority of viewers were quick to support Vicky’s I’m A Celeb presenting debut, with Tweets reading messages such as ‘Loved #ExtraCamp tonight Vicky, can’t wait for tomorrow’.

However, others had found themselves slightly disheartened by the first show- with a few viewers taking to social media to criticise the first episode…

We think this series is going to be the funniest yet- and Vicky definitely has something to do with that!

We’ll always be fans, VP.
