Tulisa made her first appearance at Southwark Crown Court this morning to face the drugs charge made against her and her rapper friend, Mike GLC.
Accompanied by long-term PA Gareth Varney, the 25-year-old N-Dubz star made her way into the court dressed in a black ribbed poloneck, a black peplum biker jacket, a black skirt and boots for her ten-minute preliminary hearing.
Yesterday, the singer was seen visiting a beauty salon to get new hair extensions fitted in preparation for her first appearance before a judge, which she today wore loose around her shoulders.
The former X Factor judge is accused of helping to organise a cocaine deal worth £860 after an undercover reporter asked her to supply 13.9 grams of class A drugs last May.
Her official trial is set to start on July 14 – the day after her 27th birthday – and both Tulisa and Mike will be pleading not guilty to the charges.
Upon leaving court this morning, the British singer made no comment before jumping into a black Chrysler Grand Voyager. Her lawyer later told reporters that she is not guilty and ‘looking forward to giving her account to a jury’.
We’ll bring you more updates as we hear them.
