The Only Way Is Essex star Pete has piped up with a telling Instagram post... But fans have not reacted well
If you’re a TOWIE fan, you’ll be fully clued up about the shocking drama that’s been going down between Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks.
Over the weekend, it was revealed that the The Only Way Is Essex couple had had a furious row in Marbella after it was revealed that Pete had been sending explicit texts to his ex, Jacqui Ryland, in which he mentioned their sex life, and complained that Megan was ‘boring’ due to ‘barely’drinking on holiday.
A distraught Megan then took to Snapchat to confirm that the rumours were true, telling her fans that she’d ‘found some messages on Pete’s phone a few weeks ago and they weren’t good’, before adding ‘it’s not right’.
Meanwhile, Jacqui told The Sun: ‘I just feel really sorry for Megan. Clearly she is a girl who wears her heart on her sleeve and I think he could potentially really hurt her.’
And now, after not saying a word on the matter, Pete himself has broken his silence, with a telling post on Instagram.
Uploading a photo of his bulldog Eric, Pete wrote: ‘Get me home to my boy…?❤️’.
He then followed up with another shot of himself standing next to a bulldog statue, writing: ‘It will always be bulldog love…❤️ #Eric #Ernest’.
But TOWIE fans quickly came down on the star, flooding his feed with comments about his failure to acknowledge what he’d done to Megan.
‘You’re actually disgusting, you’ll get what you deserve soon enough’, one fan blasted.
‘Div?? why would you want anything other than bloody @megan_mckenna_ she’s a sort and you ain’t getting better than her in a million years, screwed up there didn’t ya matey?’, another said.
Another even accused Pete of editing his comments to make himself appear in a better light.
‘He’s been deleting comments ??? Because he had way more hate/abuse/truth comments than this!’ she wrote.
And that’s not the only TOWIE drama that’s been going down on Instagram – co-star James Argent also added fuel to the fire by seemingly making a dig at Pete.
Sharing a photo of himself with Dan Edgar, Diags and Tommy Mallet, Arg wrote: ‘This trip to #Marbs has been crazy… so many people’s heads have gone! Only the strongest survive haha.’
Eesh. This series is certainly going to be a wild one…
