Tom Hardy’s One Step Closer To Being A Secret Agent!

Tom Hardy has a new movie that’s one step closer to hitting the big screen, and we’re pretty sure we’re not the only ones who can’t wait!

He’s taken the lead role in the upcoming adaptation of Ubisoft video game Splinter Cell, and the film’s just been announced as being attached to studio New Regency, which means it’s likely to start filming in 2013.

Perfect timing, as the wrap party for Mad Max: Fury Road took place in South Africa this week (after his night out at the Lady GaGa concert!)…

Tom will play black ops Agent Sam Fisher in the adaptation, a covert operative of the US government, who the LOOK office is hoping gets shirtless at least some of the time…

Tom‘s old Drama Centre schoolmate Michael Fassbender is also working with Ubisoft on a video game adaptation, Assassin’s Creed – so we’re looking forward to both of those!
