Tindog is the new dating app everyone’s talking about. Noticed your dog is off its biscuits recently? Or perhaps not barking at the postman with the same zeal they used to? Well they’re obviously missing something. Or someone.
But worry not, because for every lonely-hearted dog out there (and owner) there’s now a new dating app called Tindog. Yes Tindog, as in Tinder for dogs.
The app works just like Tinder: owners upload pictures of their dogs, and themselves if they like and then receive results about other canines nearby. You swipe right for the dogs you think could hang out with in the park, and left for those who you want to reject, like some kind of callous cat lover.
Then, if you think you and your pup will get on with your match’s owner and theirs, then grab the lead and go for a doggy date.
‘Dogs bring so much joy and love, that they really have the power to connect us. That’s why we wanted to make it easy for dog lovers to meet new people around them who feel the same way,’ founder & CEO Julien Muller said. ‘Whether it’s building new friendships or even making a love connection, Tindog is a great way to expand your social circle with others who love man’s best friend just as much as you do.’
Our only worry is that it’s a bit of a mood kill if you’re connecting with a fellow dog owner on a really lovely date in the park, but then have to stop and pick up some poo with a carrier bag. Maybe there’s an app to fix that?

As for making sure your pooch doesn’t let you down when coming to those all important Tindog pics, we recommend a few accessories, like cute neck scarves to give them a bit of edge.
