Well, guests Matt and Adele Allen were invited onto the show to discuss their ‘off-grid parenting’ methods.

Speaking to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who are standing in for Holly Willoughbhy and Phillip Schofield, the couple explained their decision to say no to modern medicine and the education system. Natch, this has given viewers at home something to talk about.

Mum Adele also revealed that she still breastfeeds her five-year-old son, and would continue to until he feels it’s right to stop.

This was met with some criticism, with reactions including: ‘I think people should do what they feel is right for their kids, but breastfeeding a 5 year old is a bit too far for me. #thismorning’ and ‘Breast feeding your child is fine … Doing it when he’s 5+ is just wrong and unnecessary #offgridparenting’.

Viewers were shocked by what happened on the show…

Aside from the obvious parenting debates, the audience at home were also quick to talk about what the children actually got up to on the show.

During the interview one-year-old Astala ended up, errr, weeing on the studio floor.

Eamonn and Ruth kept quiet on the incident, but social media didn’t. Because, it’s Twitter.

One wrote: ‘The little girl on #thismorning just stood there and had a wee!’

Another tweeted: ‘Who let’s their child pee on the floor live on TV and doesn’t offer to clean it up!! #offgridparenting’.

Awkward.
