After those rumours about Pete Wicks's ex possibly making an appearance on TOWIE, Megan's spoken out...
Sunday night’s episode of The Only Way Is Essex saw Pete Wicks delivering a heartfelt message to his former flame Megan McKenna.
The normally loved-up couple have been taking some time apart of late, following the revelation that the 28-year-old had been messaging other girls behind his girlfriend’s back. Most notably, it was his naughty messages to his ex Jacqui Ryland that found their way onto the internet and caused a big stir.
It’s the story that’s dominated the current series of TOWIE. We’ve watched the couple row, cry and grovel (of course, we’re looking at you, Pete) for the past few episodes. And following the latest instalment of the ITVBe show, rumours started to pick up about the idea that Jacqui might be making an appearance on-screen.
It looked like Megan McKenna was not too happy about the idea, either. As speculation raged on, the 24-year-old took to Twitter to share her annoyance at the rumours. And with everything she’s had to go through lately, we don’t really blame her.
In tweets that now appear to have been deleted, the reality star wrote: ‘Some headlines make me die… so much s*** floating about #milkingit’.
Megan also followed up with: ‘I swear it’s October 24th? Not April fools day? #Headlines #Towie’.
To go a step further, the feisty Ex On The Beach lady also screen-shotted a statement from the TOWIE producers, confirming that the rumours were totally false.

The statement read: ‘Jacqui will not be appearing on TOWIE. There are no plans to film with her.’
The model had previously revealed that she would have considered taking part in the storyline, telling OK!: ‘If Megan wanted to meet I would do that, but I think she’s blocked me on Twitter. I can understand – she was upset and angry, and a lot of that was aimed at me.’
She continued, ‘I would go on the show – I don’t think they’ll let me on, but they should be thanking me right now- I’ve changed the whole story line- it’s much more dramatic!’
Hmm. Well, looks like it isn’t happening.
