The Saturdays’ Una Healy is following in bandmate Rochelle Humes‘ footsteps by bagging her first TV presenting job! Is there going to be anyone left in music once these TV bosses have stopped pinching all of our favourite band members?!
Hot on the heels of Rochelle, who made her TV presenting debut co-hosting ITV’s This Morning with hubby Marvin earlier this month, the 31-year-old mum-of-one will front children’s TV show Una’s Dream Ticket on Irish network RTE, where she will make kids’ wishes come true. A bit like Holly Willoughby on Surprise Surprise but with fewer adults and more little cherubs then? Cute!
Speaking to The Sun about her latest career move, Una gushed: “This will be a really good experience for me and I wouldn’t rule out more presenting in the future. All of us girls have enough experience now that we can go off and work on other projects, but our main focus is the band.”
Maybe her and Roch’s hubby Marvin can perfect their presenting faces together, seeing as the former boybander has just scooped the Saturday night hosting slot on BBC’s The Voice.
And with JLS’ Oritse Williams also currently dancing his socks off on ITV’s Stepping Out, our weekend viewing is fast becoming a JLS/The Sats TV takeover! We’re not complaining…
