Are GBBO’s Sue Perkins And Paul Hollywood Secretly Feuding?

Scenes from tonight's Great British Bake Off suggest that the co-hosts might not be getting along...

Just when we thought all of the BBC drama was happening over on Strictly Come Dancing, reports of an unexpected Great British Bake Off feud have suddenly surfaced.

NOOO. Because guys, people are saying that Sue Perkins and Paul Hollywood are warring.

We can’t begin to understand how anyone could fail to get on with the hilariously self-depreciating Sue, but apparently, things between her and Paul are ‘tense’.

A scene on tonight’s episode of GBBO has led people to believe Sue and Paul aren’t getting along…

According to new reports, scenes from tonight’s episode will show a strained discussion between the two GBBO hosts which suggests there could be some tension bubbling underneath.

As 47-year-old Sue introduces this week’s technical challenge, Paul then pipes up with: ‘Remember, it’s the semi-finals. So it’s not only got to taste good, it’s got to look good, too.’

And that’s when Sue goes on the attack, replying with a (pretty hilarious, if you ask us) quip to Paul: ‘Paul, I think you have an appointment at Banalities R Us, just over there. Mary, we’ll see you later.’

Our Wednesday evenings would be a lot less fun without Sue and her LOL quips...

LOL.

We guess we’ll have to watch to wait and see said ‘tension’, because to us, that simply sounds like one of Sue’s usual hilariously witty put-downs.

But according to The Sun, Paul didn’t take it too well…

Anyway, Paul and Sue won’t be co-hosts for much longer, as Paul prepares to follow the GBBO crew over to Channel 4, whilst Mel and Sue have opted against moving channels.

And this is what could be contributing to the tension, claim reports.

‘What can I say? I’m still doing what I’ve always done’, Paul has previously said of his decision to stick with The Bake Off. ‘I think for me, when they picked me to do the job seven years ago, I was really shocked that I was given the chance to do this programme.

‘To see it grow over the years. I just couldn’t walk away from my job. I think it comes down to I love doing my job. I love evangelising about baking and passing the word on and I will carry on doing that.’

We’re even more excited for tonight’s episode now…
