If you tuned into Strictly Come Dancing last night you’ll know by now why we’ll be glued to this year’s show. Two words. Ben Cohen.
The hunky ex England rugby player (along with Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson, who also looks mightily good in a tight sequinned shirt) is paired up with a newly single Kristina Rihanoff.
And we’ve got Kristina, 35, to thank in advance because she’s promised that beefcake Ben will be going shirtless on the dance floor.
“I’ll make it happen ladies, just vote, just vote!” said Kristina, when LOOK caught up with her and Ben just moments after the celebrity and professional dancer pairings were announced.
“It’s probably going to happen at some point,” confirmed the dad of five-year-old twin daughters. “It happens occasionally.”
Anyone who has Googled 35-year-old sex symbol Ben will know this to be true. There are photographs aplenty of Mr Eye Candy wearing just his undies and with one mightily impressive chest on show. Ooh yes, did we mention the hairy chest? So will those famous pecs be smoother any time soon?
“I don’t wax my chest,” says Ben. “I put that Immac on once, it f****ing killed! It was ages ago. I don’t do it now.”
There’s no denying Kristina and Ben are up there with Abbey Clancy and delectable new dancer Aljaz Skornajek as the hottest ever Strictly pairing. So what does Ben’s wife Abbie think of her husband’s sex-on-legs and newly single leading lady?
“We just met,” explained Kristina. “She is a really lovely woman, she’s already invited me into the home to meet the kids and I said they’re more than welcome to come any time to the rehearsals with the kids.”
Ben must be a very pleasant distraction for Kristina who split from her boxer boyfriend, former Strictly contestant Joe Calzaghe two weeks ago. So will she be throwing herself into the BBC One show to take her mind off her heartbreak?
