After phone lines appeared to go down on Saturday night, Strictly viewers tweeted their anger at the result of Sunday's show...
As Strictly Come Dancing edges closer to the final, it’s no wonder that fans are feeling more passionate than ever over who stays in and gets voted off.
But last night’s eviction left some Strictly fans with a bad taste in their mouths after issues with the phone lines left viewers labelling the result a ‘fix’.
During Saturday’s show, the BBC was forced to tweet an apology after the phone lines appeared to stop working, with the channel tweeting: ‘Apologies, we had a slight technical error at the start of the Vote. If you had problems, please try again. The Vote is open until 20.40.’
However, after Claudia Fragapane and Danny Mac found themselves in the bottom two the following night, viewers were quick to slam the show – and the judges – for rigging the vote.
‘#Strictly is sooo biased! Both Ore and Louise should have been in the dance off! Claudia and Danny Mac shouldn’t have been there’, one tweeted.
‘I love #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing BUT I can’t be the only one who feels Claudia is undermarked week after week?’, said another.
And when Claudia was voted off, others claimedit was because the judges purposely marked her down to keep the other couples in the competition.

‘What a joke!! Claudia and AJ eliminated due to the judges manipulation last night. What a joke. This needs to be investigated! 😡 #Strictly’, one wrote.
Bruno Tonioli then appeared on this morning’s Lorraine, but failed to acknowledge the controversy, instead defending the judges’ difficult decision during Sunday night’s show.
‘When it gets to this stage, they’re all so good, someone has to go’, Bruno said. ‘It’s like picking between diamonds and emeralds. It’s always very, very sad, I just hated it as well.
‘We have to make a choice and the public contribute to that choice and that’s what happened, but she did incredibly well, she was wonderful but that’s how it plays.’
Howecer, Claudia herself doesn’t seem to have any hard feelings, and simply tweeted her thanks to her fans after being voted off, calling it a ‘life-changing’ experience.
We’ll miss you, Clauds.
