Anastacia and Brendan Cole have reportedly been arguing behind-the-scenes ever since the singer's injury...
Whilst the Strictly Come Dancing stars might be total pros at looking seriously in love on stage, it sounds like things might not be as rosy behind-the-scenes for some…
Because according to new reports, Anastacia and Brendan Cole have not been getting along.
We first heard rumours that there may be tension between the dance partners two weeks ago, when Anastacia asked not to perform in the dance-off due to tearing one of her mastectomy scars.
At the time, it was reported that the atmosphere between her and Brendan was ‘frosty’ backstage after the pair were seen quarrelling.
And now, sources are claiming that Anastacia and Brendan have been at loggerheads ever since.
‘Brendan is not the most patient of dancers’, they told The Sun.
‘They’ve had to tweak all their dance moves because of her injuries – they can’t even do any lifts or sudden turns. His previous partners like Natasha Kaplinsky, Lulu and Kirsty Gallacher have dealt with his outbursts, but Anastacia doesn’t take any c**p and fights back.’
The insider added that despite not seeing eye-to-eye, both dancers are willing to get along on screen for the sake of the competition.
‘Both are determined to make their relationship work on the dance floor and move up that table’, they said.
Anastacia opened up about her recent injury on This Morning yesterday, explaining that the tearing of her scar happened due to her and Brendan being too energetic in rehearsals.
‘The injury happened on Wednesday during an amazing, fabulous rehearsal that Brendan [Cole] and I thought that we were in the Olympics’, she said.

‘We were really having a great time. He was throwing me all over. He actually went to lift me under my arms and with my surgery that I had for the mastectomy, not only are your pecs here but my lat is also here so in him lifting me, it ripped my muscle and in my ripping my muscle, my muscles are surrounded by a bunch of scar tissue so it hurt.’
