Steve Stanulis has suggested the horrific robbery that took place earlier this week could be down to 'karma'

Kim Kardashian is still recovering from the shock of having five masked men rob her at gunpoint in Paris.

The 35-year-old had flown to the French capital for Paris Fashion Week, and was in her hotel room when the terrifying incident occurred.

Dressed as police officers, the men managed to gain entry to her apartment in the early hours of the morning.

Kim’s spokesperson has since said that she is ‘badly shaken but physically unharmed’.

Now Kim’s ex-bodyguard Steve Stanulis has spoken out about the traumatic ordeal. And he’s not being particularly kind.

During an interview on an Australian radio show this morning, he was asked whether he thinks he could’ve taken down the intruders.

He replied: ‘I don’t know if I could have taken down five assailants with guns, [or] it could be karma coming around.’

Steve also claimed that Kim’s husband Kanye West ‘wasn’t one of the best guys to work for’, and that he was ‘a little high maintenance’.

Hmm. According to The Sun, Kim has been ‘bursting into tears every few minutes’ and ‘needs to be with someone all the time’ since the robbery.

This isn’t exactly surprising, considering what happened to her. The intruders allegedly bound her in the bath as they stole millions of dollars worth of possessions.

Despite this, Steve has suggested on more than one occasion that the assault may have been due to ‘karma’.

When he appeared on Good Morning Britain yesterday, he said: ‘Look, they had this coming to them. They do not respect the importance of security when you have a profile as strong as theirs.

‘When I worked for them, Kanye would take off on his own in a cab and leave me behind to take another cab. It used to infuriate me as I wasn’t doing my job as well as I could have.’

Whatever your thoughts on Kim, we don’t think it’s at all fair to say that she ‘had this coming’. Because nobody deserves to be attacked in this way.

This is obviously an incredibly difficult time for the mum-of-two, so we’re sending her all our love.
