With a little help from social media, the Love Island drama is continuing even after the islanders have left the villa.
Tom Powell, Sophie Gradon and Malin Andersson have had quite a bit to say since leaving the ITV2 show. And with Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane Woodham getting the boot on Friday night, they’re taking their turn to speak out about their former holiday housemates.
Despite becoming friends at first, it’s no secret that things got a little tense between Sophie and Emma before Soph’ decided to walk.
Now caught up with Em’ just after she’d been voted off, and she explained, ‘I did expect Sophie to have a lot to say about me. I haven’t got anything negative to say about her or to her, but at the same time, we will not be friends on the outside. I wish her all the best. I just want to draw a line under anything that concerns me, Sophie or Tom.’
Emma appears to have been receiving quite a bit of stick on social media, which is never a good thing, but we were pretty surprised to see Sophie speaking up for her.
The 30-year-old tweeted: ‘I wud just like to remind everyone that this is a game. Although me & Emma didn’t get on, she hasn’t killed anybody. #perspective’ [sic].
Fellow Geordie Vicky Pattison seems to have struck up a friendship with Sophie, congratulating her on her time in the villa, saying, ‘Good lads aren’t they babe?! Well done in there btw Hun… Looked so tough at times and that Emma seemed a helmet!’

Sophie’s ‘diplomatic’ response read, ‘Such good lads, love them. Alex is so chill, Scott is just a diamond. Emma didn’t help matters, but I don’t hate her.’
Good on you, Soph.
