Katy has made no secret of the fact that she's a big One Direction fan - in fact, she was a guest judge on The X Factor when Niall Horan and his bandmates auditioned, so likes to take a little of the credit for their success.
At last night's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, Katy and Niall puckered up for a peck… on the LIPS! We know, we're shocked too. This morning, Niall tweeted this picture of their little love-in on Twitter, saying: "@katyperry looks like its official ... me and you."
Er, hold up - whaaaat?
Katy replied with: "I'll be your Mrs Robinson."
