Scarlett Moffatt Shows Off *Amazing* Weight Loss

Gogglebox's Scarlett Moffatt takes to Instagram to show off her new toned figure

Scarlett Moffatt is almost unrecognisable from her early Gogglebox days. The Geordie lass – whose witty one-liners made her a star of the show – has been on a serious fitness kick lately, and the results are nothing short of amazing.

She posted a before-and-after pic on Instagram last night and revealed she’d lost two stone, despite being a “professional couch potato”.

The best bit is, she didn’t turn to a fad diet or unrealistic workout routine – she simply cut down on unhealthy foods and made sure she exercised regularly. In a recent interview, she revealed it was a trip to the doctor that spurred her on to get in shape.

“I knew I was overweight but when I went to the doctor for a check up, she said: ‘You’re not overweight, you’re obese’,” Scarlett told Closer. They’re words nobody wants to hear, but for Scarlett, they were a “rocket up her bum”.

“I’m a proper foodie and I could never do a fad diet,” she added, explaining that she cut down on unhealthy foods, and now limits herself to one Greggs pasty a week.

Same resting bitch face… Just less of it ? 2 stone down woo!! #Gogglebox

She also sorted out some recent drama in her life. She’s back on track with her boyfriend Luke Crodden, who she recently moved in with in Newcastle, after rumours that he was only dating her for her money.

Feeling happy and healthy ☺️ #happy #healthy

In another Instagram post from two weeks ago, Scarlett posted side-by-side pictures of her previous figure and current toned shape, writing that she felt “happy and healthy”.

While loads of celebs have the time and money to hire chefs and personal trainers – which can leave the rest of us feeling like their diets and bodies are unachievable – Scarlett’s shown that toning up can be done in a sensible, healthy way, and that you don’t have to totally ban Greggs pasties. Phew!
