Scarlett Moffatt Reveals The Real Reason Behind Her Split From Luke Crodden

Scarlett discussed the break up at the Pride Of Britain Awards...

Fans of the Gogglebox star were all gutted when she revealed on Facebook that her and long-term boyfriend Luke Crodden had split.

In an emotional post on the social media site, Scarlett wrote: ‘I’m gonna have to write it because I feel a bit awkward as I’ve done some interviews about him being in my book that aren’t out for a while due to timings of the magazines … But me and Luke [Crodden] have finished due to a number of different things. It was Luke’s choice in the end but it’s because we both just see each other in more of a friendly way than a romantic way…’

She continued: ‘And we both respect and love each other enough to know we need to call it a day and not be one of those couples that’s off and on. So it’s not that I’m being a c**p girlfriend and not mentioning him it’s just we are no longer together. I wish him all the luck and happiness in the world, just sometimes these things happen [happy birthday Scarlett by the way ha] [sic]’

Yep, we were pretty heartbroken, too.

‘We’re still friends,’ the Extra Camp host revealed. ‘And I never thought I’d be able to say I’m friends with an ex… But we are – and it’s not like anything has happened. We just sort of realised that we just like each other as friends. We just friend zoned each other.’

Scarlett then went on to give her best break-up advice to her fans…

‘Keep yourself busy,’ she instructed. ‘I’ve been there before where you just sit and think about what happened – don’t do that, get yourself out. Even if it’s just to a mates house for a cup of tea.’

Preach, Scarlett!
