Eep. Jeremy McConnell has made his feelings about this year's Queen of the Jungle very clear...
Scarlett Moffatt is this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here champion.
The Gogglebox lady was crowned Queen of the Jungle after winning over the public with her witty one-liners and down-to-earth attitude, with the voting results showing that she was actually the most popular camper throughout the ITV series.
We mean, what’s not to love?
Well, actually, it seems that a few people have defied the nation and taken issue with Moffatt’s big win.
Former Big Brother contestant Helen Wood has made no secret of the fact that she was either Team Joel or Team Adam, having branded Scarlett ‘not 100% real’. After finding herself at the centre of a trolling storm from Scarlett’s fans, she shared an article that she’d written along with the words: ‘Once again #ImACeleb have crowned their Winner & once again the public lose their minds over a game show 🙈😂’.
Jeremy McConnell, who has previously taken part in a reality show with the Gogglebox star, retweeted the controversial columnist’s message. Ooh. Little bit of shade there?
It’s no secret that the pair have a bit of an awkward history.
Both Jeremy and Scarlett took part in MTV’s Beauty School Cop Outs before they rose to fame. On the very first episode, Scarlett was seen calling the Irish model ‘the sexiest leprechaun [she’s] ever seen’ before kissing him in a drinking game.
However, things didn’t end well between them. Their relationship soured, before they both moved on to other Beauty Schoolers.
Now, Jeremy has reportedly been talking about how he hates her, believing her to be manipulative.
Since leaving the jungle behind, Scarlett has returned to social media to thank her supporters, taking to Instagram to write: ‘…this means more to me than any words can describe. Everyone who picked up that phone and voted you made my dreams come true, forever grateful’.
Well done, Moffatt.
