The 26-year-old thanks her co-stars for their support during her time on I'm A Celebrity. Aw
Scarlett Moffatt’s clearly incredibly overwhelmed by the support she received while on I’m A Celebrity.
The 26-year-old was named Queen of the Jungle on Sunday night, beating out Emmerdale‘s Adam Thomas and comedian Joel Dommett.
Not only that, but it’s been revealed that she was the most popular contestant all along.
According to the Daily Mirror, she came first in every single vote-off during the series. She also won the final with 45.17% of the vote, with Joel Dommett (who came in second place) getting 38.2% of the public’s support.
Of course, her Gogglebox castmates were among those sending their congratulations after her triumph.
Leon and June kicked things off by posting: ‘Going to sleep happy tonight!! Hope Scarlett & family have a wonderful time celebrating in Australia. Richly deserved!!’
Steph and Dom then followed up with a Tweet that read: ‘I told you!!! What a fantastic series and probably the best winner ever!! Popping corks and sinking a few to our new Queen! #Chinchin.’
The Tapper family said: ‘Congrats @ScarlettMoffatt – very well deserved!!’ Meanwhile, Eve Woerdenweber didn’t hold back with her congratulations, writing excitedly: ‘YAAAAAAAS @ScarlettMoffatt well done! Words can’t express how happy we all are for you #QueenScarlett.’
Now Scarlett’s thanked her co-stars, Tweeting this morning: ‘Massive thanks to all the families on gogglebox for all your support, bloody love you lot. Can’t wait to watch you all tomorrow night ❤️.’
Aw. This totally smashes those reports of ‘tension’ between Scarlett and her fellow Gogglebox-ers, which reportedly emerged due to the Geordie gal being paid more and getting ‘special treatment’ from bosses.
We knew our favourite TV watchers were better than that. Congrats again, Scarlett!
