The X Factor contestant asks people to understand that he's a 'human being with a dream'
The X Factor’s Ryan Lawrie has penned an emotional Twitter post about being in the bottom three for the third week running.
After again being saved by the public in the new Lifeline Vote, he wrote: ‘Hello everyone. For those who have just got to know me on The X Factor. I am not just some boy who jumps around and is trying to become “Famous”. I am here for a reason and that reason is to make a career in music.
‘I am NOT the strongest singer in the competition and I know that I’m probably (most likely) not going to win, but what I can say is I am a human being with a dream and I can trying to make it become reality.
‘I am a songwriter. That is my first love and my main passion. I have been writing since I was a young boy and that is where my talent is.
‘I am a loving and genuine boy. I wish the best for everyone. I just wish people would understand that I’m just doing what I love.
‘Thanks for all your love and support <3. Los of love, Ryan.’

So why was Ryan so keen to get his point across? Well, it seems not everyone was pleased by the fact that he’d managed to skip the sing-off once again.
Gifty Louise and 4 Of Diamonds were instead left to battle it out, with Gifty eventually being sent home.
Tweets included: ‘Ryan is going to get to the final on the lifeline vote alone 😂 #xfactor,’ and: ‘I swear to god if this lifeline vote saves the personification of mediocrity that is Ryan again… #XFactor.’
But he was obviously thrilled, writing to his fans: ‘Thank you so much omg!!! we have done it again!!!! 3RD TIME! I LOVE YOU❤❤❤.’
We can’t argue with the votes, people… Best of luck, Ryan!
