Rita Ora Has An Awkward Live X Factor Moment

Another week has gone by on the X Factor, and it’s safe to say that both Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Rita Ora brought some serious style game to proceedings.

Cheryl stunned on Saturday night in a bedazzled leotard-style top, teamed with an asymmetric black and metallic skirt. The judge’s chopped locks were gelled back into a sleek updo, with a sleek and poker straight ponytail clipped in at the back.

Her make-up look was dramatic and sultry, with a feline flick to emphasise her eyes.

Cheryl’s Sunday night look was just as show-stopping

Top marks from us, Chezza.

Rita Ora upped the ante on Saturday in a plunging black dress, complete with caped detailing.

The blonde songstress added a pop of colour with a fuschia pink lip, keeping her tresses straight, and tucked behind her ears. The emphasis was completely on the Marchesa SS16 catwalk creation.

It was a very risqué choice, with plenty of room for a wardrobe malfunction, but we think Rita totally pulled it off. And as she stated to Grimmy, ‘It’s called fashion, darling!’

Keeping to her plunging theme, Rita opted for a chic trouser suit for Sunday’s show

This wasn’t the only slightly awkward on-screen encounter for the chart topper. Upon announcing one of her acts, it seemed that the mentor of the Girls category forgot the name of one of her contestants.

Making the introduction, Rita said: ‘Coming up next it’s someone who is amazing, and she’s my girl…’

She then fell silent. Taking an uncomfortable turn, it looked like Ms. Ora had forgotten the name of her act.

Stalling, she said ‘it’s… my girl’ again.

Simon Cowell called her out, stating: ‘You’ve forgotten, haven’t you?’

But Rita refused to accept Simon’s comment, going on: ‘No! It’s… no, I’m joking, it’s Monica!’

Phew.

According to The Mirror, Twitter users were far from convinced, with one writing: ‘Rita Ora 100% forgot that girls name on ex factor just now and badly tried to cover it up as a joke.’

Awks.
