Rita Ora has fiercely denied claims that she’s mixed up in Beyoncé and Jay Z’s alleged affair rumours, or that she’s thrown any shade towards Bey.
The Hot Right Now singer found herself at the centre of social media speculation after Queen B’s fans pieced together a link between Rita and the Lemonade lyric about an assumed ‘other woman’.
But she’s broken her silence to quash the rumours.
The blonde songstress had been accused of being ‘Becky with the good hair’; just one of the cryptic lines from Bey’s new album which has caused social media to question whether Jay Z cheated.
So, what triggered this theory in the first place?
First up, Rita posed in a sheer bralette, which featured two embroided lemons, on Snapchat. It soon went viral, with fans claiming that she could be taunting Beyoncé by referencing the title of her new music.
That’s not all. The blonde singer was also rocking a necklace, which many believe showed off the letter ‘J’. Hmmm.
She was later spotted out and about in the exact same Gucci ensemble that Beyoncé wore in her music video for Formation.
And, once the ‘Becky’ link had been made, Rita confused things further when she appeared to respond by posting a picture of the Ash Wednesday film poster.
This ’70s flick tells the story of a woman who worries she might be losing her husband.
We weren’t convinced. But the Beyhive flocked to the X Factor judge’s Instagram page to flood it with bee and lemon emojis, as well as a number of nasty comments.

But now, Rita’s spoken out, and she wants everyone to know the truth.
The singer took to Twitter to hit back, ‘…let me be clear, these rumours are false.’
She continued, ‘I have nothing but the utmost respect for Beyonce. Let’s continue enjoying Lemonade.’
