The Queen might seem like a sweet lady on the surface, but when it comes to her grandchildren, she sure knows how to crack the whip.
A beady-eyed fan of the royals captured the most LOL moment of the Queen’s Trooping The Colour ceremony that took place in London last weekend.
Yep, HRH was spotted giving Prince William a right old telling off when he crouched down to sort out naughty Prince George for a little too long…
In the video GIF, captured by Twitter user @brandonmcg), we see the Queen tap William on the shoulder sternly and making an upward motion for her hands, before saying what looks like: ‘Stand up William.’
Quick to obey orders, William jumped up looking rather sheepish after being scolded by his 90-year-old nan.
It should hardly come as a surprise that the Queen’s a bit of a authoritarian with her family – earlier this year, Prince Harry admits that he still sees her as his ‘boss’ over his grandmother.
‘I still view her more as the Queen than my grandmother, he admitted on special show Our Queen At Ninety. ‘You have this huge amount of respect for your boss and I always view her as my boss, but occasionally as a grandmother.’
You keep those boys in line, Queenie.
